Don’t you have to beat Barca away to go through?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think they just need to match Inter, i.e. they only have to beat Barça if Inter beat PSV.

They should, especially as the game's also a dead rubber for PSV, but they're a fairly good team that could cause Inter trouble if they play the game aiming to go out of the competition on a high.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, Barca have nothing to play for ..... they have already won the group. They can rest their best players for this match.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

True, however Vavlerde decides to approach the fixture is still anyone's guess.

On the one hand they'll be coming off the back of their local derby away to Espanyol, who are well placed in the table this season. That's been quite a feisty fixture in recent seasons, so they might have a few players nursing minor bruises and niggles.

Flip side is that they have a 5 day rest after your game, and only one more fixture before La Liga's Christmas break, so resting players might not be that much of a concern.

Either way, winning at the Camp Nou regardless of the team they put out would be quite a coup considering how precarious your situation in the group has looked.

Brummie, as you and me know, Spurs were winning a European Trophy, when a newly promoted side called Liverpool alongside Leyton Orient had just been promoted to the 1st division were still finding their feet.

That trophy is the same as the Emirates cup.
No one gives a crap about that one.

Your club has no history in this competition. The only club in London which has the history now is Chelsea with their European cup win.

And as we all know since then we have won more league trophies (16 more) , European Cups/CL’s (5 more), UEFA Cups/EL’s (1 more) and League Cups (4 more).

Don't forget the "we're ahead of Spurs in November" Trophy. You lot seem to cherish this but then again 1 trophy in a decade and you start to cling to lesser achievements. Enjoy it while it lasts

I know it’s been over a decade but that’s not a real trophy.
