Team News
Leeds United
Leeds defender Pontus Jansson is expected to prove his fitness after a foot injury. Centre-half Jansson, who has missed successive home wins against Bristol City and Reading, could start alongside skipper Liam Cooper.
Goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell is expected to keep his place after returning from a knee injury against Reading in midweek and saving a late penalty. Fellow defender Luke Ayling (knee) and Gaetano Berardi (hamstring), plus midfielder Izzy Brown and striker Patrick Bamford (both knee) all remain sidelined .
Sheffield Utd
Sheffield United defender George Baldock is back in contention for the home game against Leeds.
Baldock missed the midweek win at Brentford due to illness, but has returned to full training and could be included in Chris Wilder's squad.
Wilder, who has no new injury or suspension worries, is expected to recall former Leeds striker Billy Sharp and midfielder Mark Duffy.

Leeds haven't won at Bramall Lane since April 1992, during the season they won the top-flight title - they are winless in eight games since (D2 L6).

Leeds have scored at least once in each of their last 10 away league games - they haven't scored in 11 such games consecutively since August 2001 while in the Premier League (12 games).
Sheffield United are currently unbeaten in eight league games at Bramall Lane (W5 D4); they haven't gone longer without defeat there in a single season since March 2014 while in the third tier.

Biggest result of the season Imo. Beating a rival side away from home is a big step forward.

..and one weve not beaten on their patch since 1992!
Including dodgy officials

The ref must be fuming at their keeper, after all his hard work they shoot themselves in the foot

Great to see Boro getting what they deserve for their style of play. Horrible to watch.

Didn't see the game live as at work. Just watched & we never looked like we were going to concede. Halme did very well & Clarke was ok, getting better, more game time & we may have a player on our hands. As mentioned before Alioski is a good lad but I feel is playing above himself, so when his form dips it dips. He is not great at this level. Yes he runs & runs etc but that is not enough. Also Saiz didn't get on , as I feel the game was too physical for him. Said before I fear for his future at ER. If he continues to be benched, I feel he will want away. Just my opinion. Hope not as he has a lot to offer the squad. We had less possession but seemed to dominate. Bit of luck for the goal but about time we had some. Yet more pens not given
All in all great result / performance.

Just me who thought we were crap today then. Hassled, fouled and careless with the ball. Battling effort though and winning ugly is s great habit. Great 3 points.... and they deserved their 0 points for being dirty cheating bar stewards

To be fair, Leeds was not nearly as bad as the referee team and it’s not often I am critical of referees.
How big a difference was that compared to Mike Dean on Tuesday?
Massive win at a critical time for us, well done for grinding it out!

Yes Dean was in a different league to yesterday’s ref.
I’ve never really liked Dean as a ref but thought he did great the other night.
