Not a fan of Trippier. Aurier hasn't hit the heights yet, but he is potentially the aggressive, quick fullback Trippier will never be

Aurier is currently our best full back at the club, no two questions about that. So much stronger than Trippier. There is no way back for Trippier now hopefully.

bit dramatic
yeah he has played well recently but he was a liability last season
I can give him time though

Well he wasn`t really a liability at all. And anyway last season is last season, so not really relevant to now. Aurier has had some really decent games this season, and that should be all that matters.

Aurier looks streets ahead of Trippier both going forward and defending. Just needs to cut out the Kyle Walker brain farts of last season.

Who can forget that tackle on Inter's player who had he gone past Aurier, would've had a clear shot at goal?
Aurier stopped him point blank. Tackle of the round.

Aurier is miles better than Trippier defensively

There can be no doubt that Aurier is a better option than Trippier at RB.
However, he came here from PSG with documented "personality problems", documented by the French police. Guns but no roses, I think!
I do not know how he has been showing up in practice - if he's not been a problem then Pochettino will play him. If he is a problem then Pochettino will move him on quickish like.
Its the other side that worries me more. Rose should be playing. Davies is a liability, a weakness. Spalletti was probing this in the Inter game.
If Rose can't play, we might see Vertonghen at LB when Sanchez is fit again. That would not surprise me for, say, the Barcelona game.

Depends on the coach, that.
