Just Curious

As I was going about my business today I thought to myself that tomorrow's Saturday and we have a match against Sheffield Utd.

For the first time I realised that whenever I think of LUFC a particular player immediately and instinctively springs to mind, as if that current player is synonymous with, and representative of, LUFC.

For me that player is Pontus every time. That will no doubt change after he has moved on which I hope is at the end of his career. I can recall in the past thinking of Billy and Strachan, obvious I suppose, and more recently Becchio and McCormack.

I'm wondering if this is the same for other fans, and if so, who is the player that automatically pops into your head? Perhaps it isn't a player but someone from the staff like MB. Perhaps it's no-one in particular.

Just a little Friday night distraction from the cut and thrust of what is shaping up to be a very interesting season.
