Another thing that annoyed me was at 2-1 when Son got given the ball just outside the box why shoot?

Only had one defender about 15 yards away from him, could’ve took it into the box and got a better shot away

Our decision making in the final third can be very annoying at times. Kind of the same as when Son took shots from tight angles that were never going to go into the net.

Also Kane is less and less in the positions you want him to be in these days. Sissoko ended up being the furthest man up front more than Kane did in that match at times.

My thoughts exactly. Take it into the box or play Dele in rather than just hit it and hope

I 4-2 were going to beat the Arsenal?

2-1 up at half time we should have had the bottle to win that game, or at least not lose it. to lose the second half 3-0 is an absolute disgrace. you should never be losing a half of a derby game by 3 goals, especially if the sides are evenly matched. Poch's decision to leave out Toby A, in favour of Foyth, for a NLD, was an absolute joke, but where was the leadership on the pitch. I didn't see one caaaannt in the whole spurs team grab someone by the scruff of the neck and sort out the whole thing. zero leadership from Kane lloris verts, who got himself sent off, or any other of our senior players.

I agree. Unacceptable way to lose a game for us with our form the way it's been after getting our noses in front.

The defence continues to be the problem and is going backwards due to all the changes to it. It's like a defence in transition when it need not be.

I called it as soon as I saw the team sheet.... foyth and verts starting together for the first time. foyth a talent but gives away pens for fun, verts recently back from long term injury. away at arsenal. biggest game. it makes no sense on any level what on earth was Toby doing sitting on the bench. just play him and play foyth against Southampton ffs usually I calm down soon after a spurs game but im still furious

I feel exactly the same way, Toby should've started the match as he's the best centre back in either side - I knew damn well we'd lose when Foyth was in starting 11! And Dier makes far too many defensive errors. This is a match when we needed someone like Wanyama on the pitch!

We lost to Arsenal by a 2 goal difference last season too so it hasn't changed much for us

Spurtle, good positive article. Spurs will be fine, last year we had the same meltdown after losing at the Emirates, then absolutely battered them in the return match.

Spurs will lose the odd match, after seven wins in their previous eight matches, no major damage done. Expect Sprus to be very handily placed going into the New Year. A few losses will do no harm, it is all the draws that can kill teams. Half a dozen draws is worse than 3 wins and 3 defeats.

I noticed Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal PL stats except efficiency have gone significantly worse this season.
