This really wound me up. Andreas and Fred would give the midfield the bite and quality on the ball that is needed. It’s so flipping obvious and it only highlights how out of touch Jose is.

This is going to sound bizarre as hell but literally before opening this thread I was imagining this exact team after reading about Jardim's 4-4-2 at Monaco.
Literally the exact same midfield and forward line. Spooky.
That said, last season I did pose a Simeone style narrow 4-4-2 which had Pogba on the left and Rashford/Martial up front.
I think Pereira is a real talent so I hope he gets a chance.

Said for a while that I'd like a 442 instead of a 1 up front formation. Think Rashford is far more suited to a front 2 than isolated either down the middle or out wide.
I've also suggested Pogba would be more beneficial for us playing wide left. Good choice of players you've made there!

I hate seeing players given a "chance" in games like this, where we have 6 changes to our normal line up in a game that means nothing.
