Got a record number of draws, wasted millions on crocked dross and could not get us into CL qualification.
This despite having an "open cheque book" at City.

But I guess, we are where we are today only because of the money.

Money is sure very important.
But some people make it like that's all you need to succeed.
Hughes failed even with all the money at his disposal.
