Edouard

Two big results for us with the win in Norway followed up by a real battling win yesterday.

The one negative for me though has been big Eddie. These are the games in which a £9m striker should be stepping up and showing his worth. For me he was our poorest player in both games.

I thought he had turned a corner but he seems to have slipped back a bit.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Griffiths claim back the starting spot in the next few games.

Longer term we need to sign another striker.

Thought the lads did well yesterday without hitting the heights....although any football that was played in the game was played by Celtic.

Aberdeen set out to bully Celtic in Brown's absence. Our lads stood up, didn't get into retaliation and just kept playing. I thought it was remarkable the way they responded to aberdeen's approach.

Brilliant stuff. There's more than one way to win a match.

Some top defending from Celtic at times too.

Ryan Christie....what a player.

The boy Ferguson totally lost the plot for some reason and spent the last 30 mins in his own wee personal red mist. Just ran about bumping into guys.

I thought he played well yesterday. The late chance at the end he should have done better with but his hold up play, touch, turn and general game awareness was very good

I'd much prefer a striker like Eddy who is calm and reads the game well rather than gets booked for being a fake hardman and misses loads of sitters

Agreed...considering he had those two oafs McKenna and Considine all over him he did ok.

Edouard has been very poor in the last couple of games, but as Ghod says he's only 20, eratic form has to be expected, nothing is coming off for him at the moment, and he is wanting far to much time on the ball.

We've all seen enough to know we have a really high potential player on our hands, but he should probably be dropped on Wednesday to take the pressure off for a bit.

Mixed bag yesterday for me but for first 45,, he didn't get good service and mostly scraps to work off

Felt for big Eddy yesterday. Every ball he went for he was kicked or elbowed. That sad-sack of a ref Dallas just let it happen. Have to laugh at Badger Face and Shinnie whinging today about Lustig putting some manners in that wee ned Fergusson.

He's a young player and he'll blow hot and cold, it comes with the territory. The only reason it's a problem is because of the price tag, which means he probably has to play all the big games.

That much is a bit of a risk on a young player, but you can see he's got plenty of talent when he turns it on and it's not really his fault we paid that much for him.

I think he's doing a great job considering his age, and for much of the season he's had the pressure of being the only fit striker.

He just seems to be over playing things a bit at the moment, I have no concerns at all about his signing though, gonna be some player in a couple of years at his current rate of progression.
