Also pretty sure Rangers broke the transfer record in 98 3 times with Numan 4.5m, Gio 5m and Kanchelskis 5.5m. If right every signing before was less than 4.5m
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hendry was 5m I think.
Although I guess the timing of the transfers would dictate whether or not he broke any record
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hendry if I remember correctly was later in the summer after it was clear Prodan was not getting fit soon. And then struggled to get a game anyway cause of Moore
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah rumours were advocaat never wanted him. A Murray signing

See when you mention some of the players especially Rangers had around then, and compare them to now, its such a huge change in standard.

The big thing was smith getting sacked at February time. Half his squad downed tools after that

Its weird how a team with some top class talent had likes of Scott Wilson and David Graham playing alongside them.

Still cracks me up that Bob Malcolm was a footballer for Rangers.
