intentioned thoughts that Spurs would win the title this season, and perhaps move it forward 12 months, until season 2019/20. With City seemingly not going to lose a lot this season, and opening up a bit of a gap, it may be increasingly difficult to catch them this season. Not given up completely, but even I can see it will not be easy. Usually I would wait to a lot longer in the season, after all we are not even halfway through, but with Spurs suffering an unprecedented amount of injuries, suspensions, etc if will now be very, very difficult to win the Prem this season. But hey ho, still plenty to play for, Second place though should be well within Spurs grasps, certainly not expecting anything lower than third.
Cups it is then, still very much involved in all three, CL will be tricky, but it will only take one decent result to change all that. FA Cup still the best chance, League Cup I am not that bothered about, extra games with no real reward.
Anyway three points tonight against Southampton should push Spurs back into the top four at the very least.

So after 5 months of the entire planet knowing we'll do well to finish in the top 4, let alone win the PL, Sandy has FINALLY come to his senses.
After all the "bed wetting" comments aimed at our members, different views that differed to Sandy were shot down immediately, and the fact that Sandy is "NEVER WRONG" and other posters aren't allowed to change their minds this is just funny... Such a hypocrite

I think you are getting the wrong end of the stick mate, I am merely amending my prediction to next season, saying this season will be difficult, but I have not totally written Spurs off. As I have said on numerous occasions, the league really does not warm up until the New Year. The difference though is that I could not legislate for the serious amount of injuries Spurs have had to key players all season.

No team in the Prem has had as many key players missing as Spurs have this season. City have one player like De Bruyne injured, and it gets splashed all over the media, like they have hit a crisis. Spurs have had nearly all their key players missing at some time this season, and barely gets mentioned.

I would hardly say KdB missing has been splashed around the media, it's hardly been mentioned as arguably last season's best player hasn't been missed.

JA needs to create a Sandy smiley - not sure what but there's got to be one. Well done for coming round and facing reality. You could have saved yourself 20 articles and about 500 comments if you'd just removed the Spurs tinted glasses for a moment at the start of the season.
By the way, next season is the 19/20 season.

Makes even less sense to predict we'll win it next season.
We don't know yet what will happen next summer; who we will keep and who we will bring in. We might not even have Poch.
