Also, you have to take your chances. Deeney had a very good chance at 0-0, and also at the end. Missed both.

exactly, there are plenty of strikers that can hit an open net to go around. against city you cannot sit back for ninety minutes and expect not to get scored on or score. city are the best but ive seen games this year where weaker teams could have got something if they just took their chances.

theres nothing wrong with the OP.

but what i can absolutely promise is that if you go negative city will hammer you.

if you TRY and attack they are pretty soft and will cough up a goal.

so its up to sides

seriously though if you give them 70% possession and sit back guess what happens

Because they have other strikers.

Watford will never score a goal because their strikers don't play for Liverpool or City.

They have other strikers who are better.
And a better goalie, and full backs etc.
Watford will have one player at most who would get in either City or Liverpool teams.
So the plan has little chance of working, and very often they don't have the ball either, which can hinder you.
To be serious, I'm not saying tactics cannot make a difference, but I think just saying they should attack them isn't quite as easy as it seems, otherwise they would have been found out by now.
And yes if Pep had to miss four games, and they sat a dog where he sits, they would probably win at least three.

think the dog would probably have them where they are so far this year.
