If he must stay until the end of the season

Just don't give him any more money. Our squad needs a complete refit and he clearly isn't the man to do it.
Using only the sum of money he has spent it is quite easy to build a superb team made up of players signed by clubs currently ahead of us in the table since he became our manager.

Pogba (£94m) = Jorginho (£51m) Davinson Sanchez (£36m) Guendouzi (£7m)
Matic (£40m) = Kante (£32m) Robertson (£8m)
Lindelof (£31.5m) = David Luiz (£31.5m)
Fred (£53m) = Gundogan (£24m) and Torreira (£27m)
Lukaku (£75m) = Sane (£45m) and Gabriel Jesus (£28M)
£4m left over
Sanchez (£35m) = Salah (£38m)
£1m left over
Dalot (£19.8m) = Ake (£20.5m)
£300k left over
Bailly kept because he is decent.

So borrowing De Gea you could have had this side and a couple of subs with enough left over to pay for Jose to stay in the Lowry for a full year.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but in defence of Mourinho I would argue the point that when it comes to transfer cost dealings with United, we more often than not get the Ed dumb Woodward and Manchester United cash cow tax added on.

Now you may ask ‘well why haven’t City or Chelsea spent stupid amounts on similar quantities of players? Well because they’ve smartened up and won’t let the selling clubs make a mockery out of them anymore.

Exactly PK!

That side wirks on the premise that they eould want to sign for Utd.

If I were a United fan, I'd get someone new in now so that they can really assess the squad by working with them week in and week out to see who's worth keeping that wasn't performing under Mourinho.

Then he can have a proper summer window and plenty of time to weigh up the shortfalls of the squad.

Keeping Mourinho just doesn't make any sense to me.

If it’s so easy why haven’t you managed it?

Since Fergus left you've been a hiring and firing club. Jose is the perfect fit. Give him the time and the money he needs.

My mates bro used to be a coach at Utd until Jose came in and he moved to City. He reckons Utd have tried to sign a lot of players but they didn't want to play for Jose. Understandable really.
