Matic is very similar to Carrick at 35. If Carrick at 35 had lost his eyesight.

I thought Matic was terrible last night then the idiot commentator gave him MOTM. Did i watch a different game?

I thought Matic had one of his better games yesterday, but it appears that people have started tononly recognise any error that he makes and one of his better work. He’s not been in great form, but he was decent last night. Not MOTM in my view, but decent.

Any Matic bashing after last night is pure confirmation bias.

The latest panto villain. I'm not saying he has been good this season, far from it, but as you say... There is an echo chamber around him where everything bad he does is highlighted and any good quickly ignored.

No one was spectacular, last night, but Matic did well enough and seemed far more assured with three behind him.

It's funny, because Chelsea fans warned you about this when you were all gloating about how good he was after 6 games or so with you.

and tbf he was actually good for approx. 5-6 months, not spectacular but played a part in making us a lot more solid, its just after that 1st year his ability seemed to fall of the cliff

He was OK ish in the first half. But that is nit the standard we require. He still held onto the ball for too long and got caught in possession twice in dangerous areas.

Matic is now a mid table level player, the same as Groot and the same as Lukaku.

This, as well as us having a very poor manager, is why we are in mid table.
