Let's not kid ourselves, losing Eriksen would be a huge blow, whoever we'd (realistically) replace him with.

You've all seen us when he isn't playing, our creativity drops so much. He's absolutely essential to us

Yep he’s got 8 assists already which is double the next person in our squad.

He’s Kane level importance imo to us

I do wonder if we got Coutinho money from Madrid for Eriksen then Levy might sell. At which point he might just pull the trigger on Toby, Rose and Dembele (if fit) and hand Poch 250mln+ (after some going on the stadium) for the next couple of windows. Without wishing to sound overly negative.. there aint much point rewarding all of this squad with big money deals having won nothing. If we are gonna keep poch he's gonna have to give him cash/new players while asking him to do what he does in terms of developing youth.

For example.... You sell the Likes of Eriksen, Toby, Dembele & Rose & make a massive offer to Ajax (who seem to like us !!) for Frenkie de Jong & Matthijs de Ligt and go after Sessegnon

a lot of work needed to replace that lot, and then improve on it.

in the short term we badly need a CM in Jan, and some decent back up for Kane.

we also need Sanchez back so that we can play a settled back 4. our defending this season has been embarrassing

GK situation in general also needs a hard look at it summer.


if these things don't happen we simply wont kick on

I know you're not. I don't think many of us would want to see Eriksen sold.

I make you about right that those will be sold by next summer, or at least the majority, but I hope none of the players that matter and who can help us win things next year (providing we have things to win) will be sold in Jan i.e. Eriksen, Toby, Rose. As far as the rest with the possible exception of Aurier/Trippier, there's no point in delaying the inevitable. Get them out and bring in better replacements as soon as we can.

I won`t be surprised if he is sold, it`s the way Levy operates, sell a key player and bring in other younger players with potential to develop, rinse and repeat.

It`s one of the reasons we never win anything.

Eriksen will sign, he would have been off ages ago, if all he was interested in was trophies.

He came to us when he was young and has been with us for a period where we've been good enough to win a trophy. But now he's 26 and has seen no trophy success it could be a different outlook for him. He must be at an age where he's questioning his choices more.

Eriksen, Toby and Dele will all be off soon imo.
