Fabinho and keita

Both of them are starting to show why we signed them , keita excellent last night and he could be the player that adds some variety to the midfield .
Am hoping to see the both more regularly in the next few games . Only downside last night was joes injury , at least we have a lot of cover now

its like having 2 new signings mid season

The way Keita does that drag of the ball as he’s running is ridiculous. John Barnes was the last player I recall that could do that so well for us.

Yes but according to a lot of fans on here they have flopped which is crazy considering they have hardly played. Our manager has a way of nurturing new players into our team and system.

We play a different style of football from many and reading VVD comments on how our training methods are so different to other teams he has played for makes me think that unless they can run all day Klopp will not rush them until they are at the required level of fitness.

I think that both players will be really important in the 2nd half of the season.

Keita has all the tools in his locker to be a genuine world class player. He had 3 shots which could have gone in within about 30 seconds the other night. He dribbles well, tackles superbly (remember him blocking one out for a corner), can score a belter, has a decent range of passing and also has a bit of a nasty side to him which is good to see. Only problem has been his injuries which haven't helped his consistency in settling into this side. The West Ham game first day of the season and Burnley the other night he was MOTM in both.

I still believe Keita will prove a great signing for us. Might not see the best of him until next season but the talent is there without doubt.

I’m less convinced about Fabinho. I think he’s perfectly capable of being a really dependable first team player but if in 2 years time he was a squad player only, it wouldn’t overly surprise me.

Keita offers what we've been missing since the Ox got injured which is an attacking midfielder who can beat players then provide that key pass forward.

Fabinho is clearly a strong DM who is also good in the air against teams that go route one.

Great additions to the team
