I'll explain it to you.

We would be excited about the rumours (that didn't come off) of Rivaldo, Kluivert, Ronaldinho, Totti, Sneijder etc. because of the immense impact they would have had on improving the team.

We discuss changing the manager rather than signing Dybala or similar because changing the manager would improve our team in a more dramatic fashion than signing Messi.

I hope to God we don't sign any top class flair players for 100m plus.

Jose will just destroy them and it'll be money down the drain and further unrest in the dressing room.

I swear we could have Messi and CR7 and neither would perform in our current system/team

Will Jose still be there ? Likely he will be gone as the winter window starts giving Fat Sam time to buy a new squad.
