Man City were found guilty of

breaching FFP Rules back in 2014, and given a slap on the wrist. Allegations are now circulating again, that they have once again breached FFP Rules. Now time for the authorities to clamp down big time on their very public breaching of the rules. Fine will be absolutely useless. Start with a say a three year European ban, and say a five year ban on any new purchasing of players, then say a points ban, or an automatic relegation down a couple of divisions, as they did to Juventus and Rangers a few seasons back. Serious offences need serious penalties.

The obvious flouting of rules to gain an even bigger advantage of their competitors should be taken very, very seriously. Only the stiffest of sentences in my book will deter others from doing the same.

Time to start cleaning up the game.

Not sure what the style of football has to do with anything.

IF they are guilty, I’d much rather they breach FFP and produce football like they do as opposed to the dross United serve up with an even higher wage bill.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What total nonsense. You break the rules, you get punished.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No nonsense at all. They as yet haven’t been found guilty, and I as well as many others would rather watch them play instead of United and their turgid hoof tactics. I’ve not said anything about whether they should or shouldn’t be punished if they are guilty.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyway what has how they play football got to do with breaking the rules?

If we have broken rules then a 12 month European ban could be the outcome, if we haven't broken any rules then no further action will be taken.

If it is the latter then there will still be the many articles slating City as there are a lot of people on here with expertise on finance that seem to know more than the hierarchy at the club or clubs.

Spending money to buy the players capable of playing in such a manner perhaps?

Normally when you are being stitched up by bent hacks, speculating about figures they clearly don't understand, you get your chance to produce a defence
Which may also be the truth,or the reality of whats actually happened

Bitter fool. Shame Chubby Pockets couldn't beat Mourinho's 'dross' in the Cup Semi Final last year, the biggest game of Tottenham's season

There hasn’t been a single allegation we’ve breached the rules once again. It’s all about the year that we did fail.

I think it’s to do with the same year, more information has become apparent or something

I think what is different this time (allegedly) is that the first time they breached the rules. This time they have continued to breach them but tried to cover it up with lies.

It's like being caught speeding but then lying about who was driving. The former gets a fine. The latter gets up to a prison sentence. It's way worse and should be punished severely.

I haven’t seen that being alleged once?
