Well Conte got slaughtered for going there and not looking to play football. Was happy to just lose by a goal. Didn’t look to make changes until very late and brought on a defender for an attacker.

Exactly. Not double standards when what you're comparing is so different.

Was it really any different for the first 40 minutes when we were pinned back in our 1\3 of the pitch.

We would only know how different it was if City scored first goal. Conte did nothing to get us back in the game. Would Sarri? Who knows but I'd hope so

Yes I believe it was different, yesterday we were pinned back by City's superiority. That game we turned up with no intent to make a game of it at all.

I have the same view as before Man City match with Chelsea about Sarri and his several wrong team selections and tactics.

Think we’re all splitting hairs, I was fuming first half till Kante scored. We may have got the wrong directions but we got to the destination regardless. 9/10 it wouldn’t work, especially with aguero and kdb fit, but I’ll take it.

Yeah but Nick...with the best will in the world Morata & Giroud were probably going to have zero effect on that game yesterday...especially Morata

Was Hazard a success up front...not really - wasted if anything...we'd have been better off with RLC up front if anyone...at least he can win a ball and take people on
