With the games coming thick and fast

now, the Prem will in all probability have a different look about it early January. Spurs are over their tricky spell of games in the Prem, and now have a lot of winnable games. City the same. Not so for Liverpool, who are entering their toughest period of the season, after weeks of relatively easy fixtures. Man United usually take something of Liverpool, I fancy them for a win this season, more or less a week to prepare, can rest all their best players, whilst Liverpool will be doing battle with Napoli to save their CL.

As it currently stands

Liverpool 42
Man City 41
Tottenham 36

Next five fixtures for each club and possible outcomes

Liverpool
Man U (H) 0
Wolves (A) 1
Newcastle (H) 3
Arsenal (H) 1
Man City (A) 0
5 points

Man City
Everton (H) 3
Palace (H) 3
Leicester (A) 1
Southampton (A) 3
Liverpool (H) 3
13 points

Tottenham
Burnley (H) 3
Everton (A) 1
Bournemouth (H) 3
Wolves (H) 3
Cardiff (A) 3
13 points

How the table would look 1st week of the New Year

Man City 54
Tottenham 49
Liverpool 47

Although Spurs usually win at Everton, they are in pretty good form, so a point would be a decent return. Not sure too many would disagree with my assessment of how the games may pan out.

All to play for now, and shows how quickly a table can soon turn around.

I'm not arguing that Liverpool have the toughest set of fixtures but you aint giving an unbeaten team who are top of the league much credit. If it was Spurs, you 'd be talking about an "invincible's season "

Not about giving them credit, but being realistic. They have had gimmes in the league for a couple of months now. I am merely giving a prediction on how I think it may pan out. I don`t think I will be too far out.

Very much doubt that, Every team loses some games, so I would not even contemplate an unbeaten season. Even Spurs best ever team lost matches. Only a fool would say their team could go unbeaten. The two teams that did it, were Preston with only half the games played today, and Arsenal who had an incredible amount of luck.

Spurs will win the league with a bit to spare.

fairly confident of top 4 which is the minimum but the same time a fantastic achievement all things considered.

Mayonly need to finish top five, after City get thrown out of European competitions next season, for breaching FFP Rules again.

There wouldn't be many teams in the competition if the rules were actually enforced...
