Whole Squad Fit and In Form

We should try this at some point in the season.

Fabinho Keita
Shaqiri
Salah Firmino Mane

If we're going to play with a ATM like Ox/Shaqiri then if both were fit I'd probably play Shaqiri in bigger games when a little bit more guile were needed.

Ox was playing well when he got injured but frankly Shaqiri's start to his Liverpool career has been better than Ox's. Be great to have both as an option (think Lallana may be done tbh) but I'm been very pleasantly surprised by Shaqiri, he's technically outstanding.

Only the midfield is up for debate for me. Long term Fabinho is a more natural for the defensive midfield role than Henderson. With Keita next to him in a box to box role it then has to be one of Ox or Shaqiri. For me Ox would suit the midfield dynamic more. Personally I'd have both as squad options who can fill several roles and would like to buy somebody in the Fekir mould.

Tbh I've not seen enough of Fekir but I'd love to have Isco in that role. He seems to be on the RM bench again but I'm a fan, think he's a wonderful player.

The moment we go to Madrid it could pry open the door for them to start looking at Salah or any of our other stars.

Pretty sure that if RM wanted Salah or any other player of ours they wouldn't wait until we declared an interest in one of theirs.

I doubt we'd ever get him btw, just an opinion on who I'd love to play that role.

I'm not saying they'd wait.

That's different from saying that they would attempt to capitalise on the situation, which they would. Furthermore, we have current deterrents which would be weakened by an approach for any of their players IMO.

Current deterrents? What are they?

Genuine question, I'm not aware of anything. I read about the 100m Euro supplement if Barca come after any more of our players until 2020 but I didn't know we had anything with RM.

I feel your questions are too basic and if you have to ask, where do I start?

Are you saying that us fiddling with Madrid players doesn't make it easier for them to fiddle with ours? Because it does.
