Last 7 fixtures

Given the way we have Fked up in the last couple of season in the last part of the season - Just been going through Leeds fixtures for the last 7 games. Makes a pleasant read.

Birmingham A
Preston A
Sheff W H
Wigan H
Brentford A
Villa H
Ipswich A

If we assume that the top 8 will remain as it is... can't see anyone else breaking into that. Then we will only be playing one top 6 side in our last 7 games...... villa! Hopefully, Villa game will be a dead rubber by then as we'd already be up and that will be party day at ER!! 4 home and 3 away against those sides is a decent final run.

agree mate, but one game at a time for me

Not a bad run in but then again teams fighting to stay up can be tougher than those near the top come the end of the season and you also forgot to mention our run of fixtures for jan and feb and our usual collapse which could see us drop out of the top 8 you reckon gonna be there at end of season. We have some very tough games coming up after xmas which means we need as many points from our next few matches. I reckon if we can get a minimum 9 points before xmas and at least 15 points between jan and feb it will leave us in a good position to charge to the finish line over next couple of months. Really hoping our shocking form after xmas from recent seasons doesnt cause our downfall again

Yeah that’s a fair point, the decent run in the last 7 games is obviously offset by a tough fixture list in Jan and Feb

you have to say though with our current form [hopefully we start taking more of our chances] that playoffs look easily manageable and anything less would require the collapse of previous seasons and im hoping MB doesnt allow that to take place. To gain auto we need to return to the type of form that seen us destroy derby and norwich, we get back to there and nothing will stop us but we are Leeds and a bit like forest gumps box of chocolates. you never know what your gonna get next

We did go through a run of something like 2 wins in 8, so it wouldn't surprise if we have another lean run and I would not be surprised if that co-incided with a Hernandez absence.

I'm confident we'll come though it ok, but we will have lesser points returns than we've just experienced, I'm sure MB will hold his nerve through that.

Historically, we collapse after Christmas, but I don't feel that the normal rules apply to us now with Bielsa in charge.

For instance, I've detected no sign of "altitude sickness" this season when we've taken the top position in the league. In the past, we've bottled things seriously when we've been in the Autos. Not a single wobble that I can detect this season. We're only second because of the WBA result really where we were beaten by the better team and got pasted when we changed tactics with more attackers.

Bielsa will focus on each game and all will be stable next year.

Bielsa teams do have a tendency to struggle as the season goes on. That is my big worry. Is the group, injury ravaged as it is, capable of playing Bielsa's way all through the season?
