Doing well in a rubbish league is irrelevant. The guy isn't that string, isn't that quick and couldn't score if the goal was the size of the kop when he was with us. He's the sort of player who might do well for a short while in Turkey, but will be in mediocrity before too long, and if we keep him as a first teamer then that's where he will be.
Would you want him in our PL squad? That should be the attitude applied to all the senior players out on loan atm, and the answer is no to all of them.

Ridiculous statement from top to bottom.

So you would have him in our PL squad then? Should we get promoted.

Great post, Kebab, I'd forgotten about our players out on loan. Bielsa made the point a couple of weeks ago that he would only bring in players who he thinks will improve on what we have. It's hard to know how well any of these players could adapt to the training regime and style of play Bielsa demands. Coyle might be adequate if we need a right back. I can't see any of the others offering us something we need. However, Bielsa has shown real commitment to the players he has, and adapts the system to suit those available. The alternating use of 3-man and 4-man back-fours is pure genius in my view - he seems to have a solution to whatever injury problems arise, or whatever the opposition comes up with, and the players coming in look like they've played in those roles all season.
How long would it take our loaned-out players to get the fitness and the skills to fit in to this regime?
It's a hard call, and I think Bielsa has probably already decided who he would have back, and who can leave us for good.

So what role would you have him play? Bring him back to be fourth choice striker?

Lubo...name a striker we have with his sheer athleticism and strength?...You are judging joke on the same season the rest of these players were judged...the same players who are 2nd in the league by 5 points...you are being short sighted.

I will let LIW answer this one, I know he has some strong opinions about this.

Paudie O'Connor should return if he is not getting game time there, and improve under Bielsa's coaching team.

Roofe and Bamford are both better strikers than Ekuban, and Roberts, if he's not already better, has the potential to far exceed Ekuban. Then there's Edmondson and Dalby to consider as well. We are well stocked in this area.
