I thought Rooney’s first touch was terrible towards the end of his career with Utd but my word, Lukaku...how an earth is he a pro footballer with a first touch that bad. At least Rooney could ping that long 100 yard diagonal ball with pure precision.

To think, we spent £75m on a striker to play as a target man and he’s not as good at it as the bloke Moyes bought.

Lukaku needs to find a new profession, maybe a car parking assistant with the way he uses his arms pointing to the floor.

He could be crash barrier on a dangerous mountain road in the Swiss Alps. Image the number if lives he would save just bouncing the cars back on track.

Given his size now I reckon he could become an Avenger.

But I do have some sympathy for him having to play for Manchester United as an attacker. We just ruin them.
