Ok, time to move on from Tuesday`s

great result in Spain. Right so it was only Barca B team, whoever saw that line being peddled from the Media and Opposition supporters. Honestly what a load of nonsense. Anyway I digress, Burnley up on Saturday and a chance of three more points. Playing before any of the top two for once, a real chance of moving within three points of the top of the table, and a real chance to put pressure on City and Liverpool.

With the CL done and dusted now until February, time to really start racking up the points, ramping up the pressure and put down a serious marker, that Spurs are not going away, and will be a serious threat to the top of the table teams. They have shown they go to any of the world`s big teams and come away without being defeated, which should put Spurs in very good place for the more difficult away games later in the season.

From hereon in until March, with a kind set of fixtures, Spurs should put themselves in a very strong position to win the title, then in March/April go to places like Anfield and the Etihad and get a result, to seal the seal, Spurs have the players, so no reason they cannot deliver.

Weaker against Burnley with an eye on playing our strongest XI vs Arsenal.

Team vs Arsenal same as vs Barca unless one of Aurier or Trippier are ready. Would start KWP against Burnley.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Arrogantly resting players against Burnley, dropping points, then losing at Arsenal anyway. I think we have been there before. Burnley game needs to be taken very seriously, with best available side on show.

I agree.

I would go as strong as possible v burnley, and the only potential change I could live with would be something like Moura for Son, or something like that,

basically a like for like with two players pretty much matched on ability.

dier in for sissoko too... sissoko can be unleashed v filth

Interesting that these are the teams that we can possibly face in the next round of the CL:

Tottenham Hotspur (ENG)
Bayern, Dortmund, Juventus, Paris, Porto, Real Madrid

Not sure there are any of those that I'd choose!

Bayern have been pretty average by all accounts for the majority of the season. Keeps chopping and changing the team. Porto would be the obvious choice.

For Burnley I’d be going with the following players.

Lloris KWP Toby Verts Davies Dier Sissoko Eriksen Lamela Son Lucas

“Porto: The current Primeira Liga leaders won five Champions League games in a row to top Group D and are victorious in their last 12 matches in all competitions.”

Not sure I fancy Porto...

It’s all relative. Schalke picked up 11 points in the same group which is only 3 fewer than they’ve managed in 14 Bundesliga games this season.

Madrid & Porto are the easiest
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Madrid?!

They've won it four of the last five years!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yea but they are absolutely awful this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just like they were in last years group stages. They get to the knockout stages and turn it up a couple of notches.
