I get the odd "I have hacked your webcam and recorded you wonking yourself, pay me $300 in bitcoins" sextortion emails but I never got one like this. Made me laugh out loud to be honest. Its almost comedy (I mean no offense).
"My recruited person hid the bomb (lead azide) in the building where your company is located. It is constructed according to my instructions. It can be hidden anywhere because of its small size, it is impossible to damage the supporting building structure by my explosive device, but you will get many wounded people in case of its explosion.
My recruited person keeps the building under the control. If he notices any unusual behavior, panic or emergency the bomb will be blown up.
I would like to propose you a transaction. You pay me $20'000 in BTC and explosive will not explode, but don't try to fool me -I guarantee you that I will call off my recruited person solely after 3 confirmations in blockchain.
Here is my Bitcoin address : 19nShJMkTbP6VCVaoAjzzTQuXLPzXH1Qb7
You have to pay me by the end of the working day. If you are late with the payment the bomb will explode.
Nothing personal this is just a business, if I do not see the bitcoins and the explosive device explodes, other commercial enterprises will transfer me more bitcoins, because this isnt an isolated incident.
To stay anonimous I will no longer enter this email account. I monitor my wallet every 25 minutes and after seeing the bitcoins I will order my person to get away.
If a bomb explodes and the authorities see this letter- We are not terrorists and dont take responsibility for acts of terrorism in other buildings"
That last sentence , he must think that a disclaimer would exonerate him from any wrongdoings.

It's worth checking your email on this site

How does that work then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It basically shows what data breaches your email and or password was leaked on.

I am using Experian IdentityWorks

The LinkedIn hack is where a lot of the sextorters get passwords from to scare you.

It's a worry for us when the password matches something used either currently or in the past on ja606. If you are determined to.use the same password. Add the first two letters of the site at the end of the password. So "password123ja" so if "password123??" On site ??cebook.com gets hacked you aren't dropping your pants to hackers.

It's enough to stop stupid hack bots causing carnage

As an aside ja606 passwords are one way encrypted using both a hash and a salt/seed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt_(cryptography). So even we don't know the passwords our users set.
