January transfer window

Silver said we may be in for Andy King on loan deal from Leicester. If RC is gonna be out for a while, King is a half decent player tbf.

We need 3 players - a new CB, RB and a striker and as per recent transfer windows we will sign three midfielders / wingers when we have plenty and ignore the obvious requirements.

Just reading the BBC gossip column and it says Gerrard wants to sign more players.

It’s the gossip column so no chance of being true. He signed 15 players in the summer on top of the squad he has and supposedly only Sadiq is a flop

Right. Here’s my take.

We’ll sign nobody in January because the gap will be enough and there’s no realistic expectation of is going through in Europe.

Every man and his dog knows January window is extremely difficult to get quality in because clubs don't sell their best players mid season.
