According to the time he wants out in January.
Problems with Jose, surprise surprise.
Definitely think we should be moving him on though. He’s been a decent servant but he’s 33 now and while still a good defender offers nothing on the ball nowadays.
Should never have been granted captaincy either imo.
Give Dalot a run for the rest of the season.

I wonder what kind of a captain's speech he gives in team talks?

Hmmm, a limited robo-player that loves to follow instructions... I think he'll be signing a bumper new deal in January.

If we lose, which we should, let's be honest then will it be by enough to finally push this to$$er out of the door.
Jose has even sucked the joy out of my old mate Ji.

If we lose, which we might, and there is no shame in losing at Anfield under normal circumstances, it depends on the way and style we lose. If it's yet another negative pedestrian Jose debacle then I would say that he will have finally run out of excuses and time.

I do find Ji's transformation into one of the forum's biggest "despair squids" quite funny though.

That's very optimistic. I cannot see Jose going before the Summer

Valencia has now reached an age where it is a determining factor.
In all honesty, his major problem was that despite being a more than useful winger when he arrived he was a) no Ronaldo and b) present at a time when Sir Gary was at the end of his career and garbage like Rafael had started to arrive.
Asked to act as a makeshift full back when his only qualification was (despite being average as a defender) that he was 5 times better than the alternative was ridiculously poor planning.
It is no disrespect to the player himself - who has vindicated SAF's highly criticised decision at the time to bring him in - but his presence in that makeshift fullback role - bizarrely at a time when the club have had no right wingers - is just about as indicative of the pizz poor direction the club has been led for the past 6/7 seasons as anything else.

I'm still a joy squid at heart. I actually think we have a good team. Just a manager stuck in the past.

Exactly.
Same with Young. Gives his all but we need to be moving on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fack me but I actually value Young now, whereas I didn't until last season, when he finally earned a paycheck with us.Toni can and should go to the MLS, but I'd keep the handy Young for maybe even another season. His fitness is fine and he plays over most of the field and can score the odd goal and offers an assist when needed. Toni's a shin-bashing machine suited perfectly for Atlanta or Miami. We still need another fullback - Darmian can cover either flank but really is woeful, and he'll be gone soon enough. Good enough for Italy and I reckon he'll turn into a player somewhere else, but not here. Dalot looks good but isn't what we should have as a first-choice back - not quite yet, I like his style though. We really are a fustercluck these days....
