MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES
@alistairmann01: It's the first top-flight meeting between these two sides but it seems sure to be the first of many.
Two straight wins for Wolves has restored self-belief after a run of just one point in six games, and they continue to exhibit a quality in their play that is ideally suited to the Premier League.
They're a completely different proposition to their predecessors of 2011-12, who were relegated with fewer victories throughout the campaign than this current side have earned in their first 16 matches.
That Bournemouth arrive similarly placed in the top half of the table owes everything to their brilliant start to the season, as five defeats in their last six matches has begun to seriously stunt their progress.

VIEW FROM THE DUGOUT
Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Nuno Espirito Santo: "We know how hard it is to get back-to-back wins and we want to continue.
"It's a tough challenge we face. What is important is that we are ready for tomorrow."
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "We want to get out there and put the Liverpool game to bed. The Christmas period is a really important time for us. We know we can build some real momentum and these periods can
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
This is the inaugural top-flight meeting between the two sides.
Bournemouth have won 2-1 in each of their last three games against Wolves in all competitions.
Wolves have gone five matches without a win against Bournemouth since beating them 3-1 in December 1989.
Wolverhampton Wanderers
Wolves are vying to win three consecutive top-flight matches for the first time since March 1980.
Their tally of six Premier League wins this season is already one more than they managed in the whole of their last top-flight campaign, in 2011-12.
They have failed to score a first-half goal in seven league games at Molineux since Ruben Neves' 44th-minute strike against Everton on the opening weekend.
Wolves have scored two 90th-minute winners this season, a joint league high with Manchester United.
Diogo Jota has scored in successive Premier League games, after not scoring in his first 13 appearances in the division.
Bournemouth
It's five defeats in six league games for Bournemouth, who had earned 13 points from their previous six fixtures.
The Cherries could fail to score in consecutive Premier League matches for only the second time in 2018, having done so in April.
Their last six Premier League goals have been scored before half time.
Ten of Bournemouth's last 11 Premier League goals were either scored or set up by Callum Wilson or Ryan Fraser.
Wilson has scored eight Premier League goals this campaign, equalling his career-best tally from last season.

The question is who gets to start to replace Jota, assuming that he is not available on Friday.
For me it would be Cavaleiro although I'm sure some would prefer Traore.
Or will Costa drop to the bench and Bonatini come back in to play up front with Jimi?

Personally I wouldn’t do any of those things. Liverpool are going to dominate the ball against us and I would replace Jota with Saiss and play a 5 man midfield, with MGW or Costa playing behind Jiminez.
If Nuno wants to keep the same shape I suspect it will be Costa for Jota

Saints beat the Gunners!
Anyone see that one coming?

Surprise win for Saints. Probably a double managerial boost. Getting shot of the useless Mark Hughes and bringing in a guy who did well at Leipzig. Suspect Southampton will stay up now they have made that change

Man United look so bad. The worst I think I have seen them. There is a genuine chance that one of the teams competing below them could nick 6th this season if they keep Mourinho.

We have had more possession in only 6 of our 17 games thus far and I do not expect us to have more against Liverpool.
We rely a lot on catching teams on the break and I feel Nuno prefers not to concede, as apposed to scoring goals, hence we have a decent goals against column and a poor scoring one.
Liverpool will try and dominate us and it will be interesting to see what his starting line up will be.
In recent games we have seen him change from his favoured 3-4-3 to a 3-4-1-2 style with Gibbs White behind a front two.
Liverpool play with a solid back 4 and use Robertson a lot for their attacking play. Doherty has therefore got to stifle his breaks and try to keep him in a defensive mode.
We have played well against the top sides thus far and I see no reason why we can't get at least a point, if not all three and halt Liverpools unbeaten run.
Let's play to our strengths and not worry too much about Liverpool's. We are the home team, so let's go after 'em and keep the 3-4-1-2 style which has thus far, done us proud.

Mourinho’s football has always been unexciting but nowadays it is downright archaic. He just hasn’t moved on with the times and not only are they less effective than Man City, Liverpool and Spurs but far less good to watch also. Cannot see Utd sticking with him beyond the summer, and could be gone sooner. Although from a Wolves perspective I hope he sticks around
