Bamford

Looks so much slimmer, fitter, faster, stronger. He needed to.

Now we seem to have a real player.

Nah, he has been brought to Chelsea as an 18/19 years old & was seen as precocious. I have a lot of Chelsea mates who lauded this bloke. He is capable of great things & he believes in himself. He wants to make it in the big time & at 25 he now needs to show what he can do, he wants to make it, he has passion & commitment. ANd Bielsa believes too.

One thing's for sure, adding a multi-million pound,
goal scorer to your squad, at this time of year, in the
position we find ourselves, is fooking brilliant.

Yeah , bit of Charlie will do that to you every time

Not doubting his ability, but no way should we be discussing an England place right now.

Great result today, and particularly for Bamford. A hat trick during the week and now he's bagged one with his first touch - will have done him the world of good. Now we have serious competition for Roofie; I am hoping for great things from Bamford. Seems like a clever bloke and highly motivated - like Bielsa and AR, maybe he has something to prove to the world?

All in all, five wins on the trot, a clean sheet away from home in atrocious conditions, top of the table and six points clear of 3rd approaching Xmas, coping well enough with the injuries and the permanent loss of a very good player - what a fantastic situation!

Good tell that Bamford was confident he was going to score the way that he took it. A player lacking confidence there takes the first touch. He knew what he wanted. Clinical.

The killer instinct we’ve been missing?

Looking at his goal yesterday and the celebrations the team and staff looked so together and there was genuine joy for Bamford.

It wasn’t just they way he took it. Watch his movement before Pablo plays the ball. He made the move and Pablo saw it and threaded the ball through.

Class players who know how to make space for themselves and make it easier for teammates to find them.

Just hope he keeps fit. Big player for the most important run in we’ve had for years.
