so who is next?

Surely to God, Jose wont be still with us be the start of next season, and I for one, can't wait for him to leave - the sooner the better as far as I am concerned, however, if we got rid mid-season, as things stand the obvious candidates NOW are Zidane, Jardim and Blanc. Would any (or all) of these three candidates still be considered viable options if we held out til the summer, when there may well be more options available, or are there likely to be more favoured coaches available/viable in the summer?

If they would be, why delay now? or are there more viable, preferable options in the summer who are worth delaying for?

I have to say, no obvious candidates spring to my mind.

Conte was defensive. Even when he beat us 4-0, they didn't actually have any more shots than us. The Chelsea FA Cup final performance in May made Jose seem attacking and forward thinking. He got Chelsea a league title through playing a back 5 and 2 holding midfielders. He's exactly the sort of manager I would expect our board to appoint.

Poch is by far the standout candidate. But I don't think he'd choose us over Real

Are Real still willing to cough up though? Why didn’t they go for him a few weeks back?

We should have moved for Tuchel in the summer. Giving Mourinho a new contract just sums up our board’s incompetence.

The Process

They could have an agreement to bring him in come July. Poch could lead Spurs into a new stadium and wouldn't have to take over a struggling team midseason

Possibly but Madrid have been reluctant to splash the cash lately on players let alone managers.

Because they didn’t really need to. Now they do.

The process may be good at selecting a team (the same one over and over), but no way he’s ready to manage utd yet merry. Come on dude..

It would be sad to see a certain worldwide famous Youtube star making videos about Carrick if he were to perform badly as our manager.
