Just read a very interesting stat in the mercury which confirms to me what I know. We’re a team in relegation form.
We’ve picked up 43 points in our last 38 games under Puel. That would have us just above relegation if it were the full season. The problem is, we’re not improving from that form, we look to be getting worse.
What’s worse than 43 points in a season?
Well, it could be relegation.
I’m done with Puel and his failing methods. Like others, I like his attempts to bring in more possession football and believe we should stick to this. I like that he’s brought though younger players. But that aside, for me he’s done nothing but take our club backwards.
I’d like the see Top and his team get out and start searching for a genuine progressive manager to replace Puel in the summer. Go all out on finding a man who actually understands the game in 2018 not 1990, and is able to take out a broadly talented squad to help them realise their potential.
I don’t need us to go to kick rush football, but I do need to see us going forwards. Because say what you like about Puel, we’re going backwards.
Puel OUT.
Going backwards

Watched it on our snow-storm TV with my dad and was inconsolable – too young to understand the full impact of being a man down for over an hour against the best team of that era.
The current Spurs are so good at bottling, they should work for a brewery.

Thanks for your very interesting contribution Joby. I at least appreciated it.
As always, I agree with everything you say, except I want Puel to leave in the summer regardless.
People seem to miss the fact it’s not the position we’re in now that’s the problem, it’s the direct we’re heading. I can see us spiralling towards being the next Stoke, Southampton or god forbid Leeds! I’m not bothered with our current position, more the fact we look like a club in a very bad downward trajectory.

Absolutely agreed.
Except for money, fanbase, attitude, bottle and the continuing curse of Sandy.

And, currently, a home ground, which is so far behind schedule it even makes Chris Grayling blush. But yeah, apart from that....

Speaking of bottle jobs City there for the taking and you messed that up anyway, I’m happy with the way Spurs are heading. Shame you can’t say the same for little old Leicester laters boys

Bottle jobs?! it wasn’t even our first 11 on the pitch you mug.
Bottling it is when you have the premier league title in your grasp and you end up finishing third
See you on the spurs board after you predictably fall short once again
