The next coach

I don't mean now, 52. More the summer. Barf, he only signed a two year contract so could be tempted. Though if I were him I probably wouldn't bother. The job is becoming a poisoned chalice and we are run behind the scenes by amateurs. It's fast becoming very off putting for coaches and players, in my opinion.

I remember during the 70's and 80's, Old Trafford was known as the Graveyard of Strikers, as everyone we signed never seemed to do the business as well as they were expected to.

Maybe these days we are the Graveyard of managers?

He hasn't managed a team for nearly 3 years. It amazes me people would rather go with Blanc than someone like Zidane (who has won 3 cls alone since Blanc last managed a club).

Zidane may well be as good a coach as he was a player but its still a risk in my eyes, the RM team that won 3 CLs pretty much managed itself, players like Ramos Ronaldo Modric Kroos etc the experience and quality of them i doubt you need to do much managing. Not tryna take away what he was party of it was crazy might not be seen again for a long long time just wouldnt be hiring someone just because they won 3 cls with that RM team... Mourinho won a lot too. Its gta be the right fit first.

also you could get the perfect manager but there so much more needs to be right at the club... Do you trust the owners and the people who run it? Any manager who Utd go after next needs to lay down expectations and guarantees before even considering the position. Unless they just want a huge pay day, cause if they dont its a huge dent in their careers where do you go after? same place as LVG moyes etc i guess.
