about to be derailed with this talk of Poch to Utd? Sky will love the Poch to Utd story, they already have him as favourite and wayneking themselves silly over the thought of it.
Will this turn Pochs head?
Will this give Levy the kick up the ass he needs in terms of transfer budget offered to Poch?
Why now
Is Our Season

I used to really admire and respect Utd but genuinely would now see Poch going there as a step down for him.
I don't know why he would, and I don't think he's stupid, so for me there's nothing to worry about.
I think he'll give us one full season in the new stadium, win something, then leave for one of the very very big clubs. And I'd wish him well
To utd, now? Nah.

any manager with any ambition would walk away from spurs and take the Utd job.

What's more ambitious - spending a tonne load of money and 'buying the league' or the project currently in place at Spurs with developments all round?
If Pochettino manages to get Spurs winning it would be a greater achievement than anything he would have at United.

We will need to think of some way to remember spurs. How about a small badge of an incomplete stadium that we could wear on this day of every year to mark the end of the club. We will remember them.

Really?
without being disrespectful to spurs, they are small fry in terms of the size and prestige compared to Utd.
no doubt Poch has done a remarkable job at spurs, and has them punching well above their weight when you consider what they have spent compared to the clubs around them.
any manager with any ambition would walk away from spurs and take the Utd job.
despite the poor few years we have had, the club itself under the right manager could again reach the pinnacle of world football.

I see your argument, and I get that Utd are undoubtedly a bigger club (reputation, fanbase, global appeal, recent success etc.)
But trying my best to be unbiased, I think spurs have a brighter future. We're now CL regulars, new stadium, a young and settled squad, chairman who clearly trusts him (although I'll concede that he doesn't shower him with money for signings!), a team that he has built... why would he ditch that for a team that has been struggling to avoid decline for a few years?
Not saying Utd aren't a big draw, but not to the level they were, and I think Poch could do better once he feels he's done at SPurs

Poch told Madrid where to go and I'm confident he will tell ManU re the same.
Moanrinhos sacking might work in Spurs' favour, it could nudge Levy and Lewis into backing Poch properly if they think his head could be turned.

Pochettino will stay.
Levy won't spend.
United will hire a manager.
