Do NOT sell Callum Hudson-Odoi !!

This would be a mistake of epic proportions. This kid is absolutely brilliant, he's our best youth player since JT in my opinion and we need to convince him that he has a very rosy future at Chelsea if he stays here.

I guarantee that this will come back to bite us in more ways than one if we sell him. Maybe as bad or even worse as allowing Kevin DeBruyne and Mo Salah to slip through our fingers.

You really have to question the direction of the club if we can't keep the likes of CHO. If we can't capitalise on the very best youth coming through and if we also don't have the funds to spend on the very best players like we once did then how are we expecting to compete with the elite teams in the PL and the CL ?

Are we even expecting to be a regular CL side in future seasons ? I'm not convinced we are at this rate.

When does his contract? Bayern links seem fanciful, and probably just because Dortmund signed Sancho so are linking him to a German club.

It does make sense from a Bayern POV as Ribbery and Robben are retiring soon.

Hope I'm wrong but it wouldn't surprise me to see us sell him for the quoted 25m and buy Pulisic for 70m.

It doesn’t really. They’ve signed a young Canadian winger that’s coming in January, and have Coman and Gnabry, again young wingers. They’ve committed to spending big this summer to rebuild the squad, so with Robbery going and them already possessing young forwards it seems more likely they’ll be going for more proven forwards. I wouldn’t worry about them too much if I were you, Brummie.

Coman is in a pretty bad shape by all accounts though. Plus Gnabry has been used as a striker and support striker.

Think German clubs are also seeing the possibility of getting in young English players relatively cheap then selling them back for a fortune in a couple of years.

Can't see him moving to Bayern, it's more likely that we'll send him out on loan

With our track record can you blame me!

I know there are worries over Coman’s fitness, Gnabry has played most of the season on the wing as well. I don’t think that signing English players and selling them back really applies to Bayern either.

I just can’t see them going into a season relying on four young wingers. Not after this season. More likely to sign someone like Thauvin or Depay, or someone in the Bundesliga.

Plus it wouldn’t make any sense for CHO to go there with all this in mind as he’d be swapping one bench for another. If he’s leaving to play football I’d imagine Bayern is one of the last places he’d want to go.

Doubt Bayern will be doing that, if they sign CHO it will be with the intention of having him for his prime years assuming he furfils his potential.

Frankie

I used to defend the Chelsea Head coaches/Club on the subject of our academy/younger players.

With Ampadu I'm a little less concerned because he's on a long contract.

CHO? If we let him go for the sake of short term gain I'll be gutted.

As will I Flash. It would become a symbol for how our youth system has failed to become anything other than something to obtain short term smaller gains from. Cho will undoubtedly become a player who's worth well exceeds £25 million or whatever we're reportedly considering selling him for.
