Zis sound familiar?
Ballybrack FC of Dublin are on a terrible run of results & faced a
difficult fixture v Arklow last month.
Player injuries etc it was obvious they would get a pasting.
In desperation their Club Secretary posted that their striker
Fernando La-Fuante had died suddenly in a car crash.
The game was postponed and other clubs sent messages of condolence.
Some rival players added that they would like to attend the funeral,
but were told 'That may be quite difficult'.
And that's when it all came out.

I love how he said he was meant to just ‘break his leg’ like that was the original plan.

It's obviously corrupt.
But nowhere near the lofty heights of corruption on an industrial scale
at UEFA and FIFA.
