Christmas expectation

As the festive excitement builds
I decided to cast my eye over the Christmas fixtures
And it just added to my misery 😂😂
Chelsea,man city,cardiff,Everton
Normally id be looking at
3pts cardiff
3pts Everton
& maybe a lucky draw from one of the others so 7pts.max.
But im now thinking a draw against cardiff will probably be
The most to expect ? 1 pt from 12 available 😳
Ho ho ho dear !

If we get 3 shots on target before Round 3 of the FA Cup it will be progress..

““I think we have improved without the results - I will explain,” said Puel.
If we look at just our last game at Palace, if we had won we would be seventh in the table. We lost and we are 12th.”

No. Not a Trump tweet, a genuine comment by Puel which he thinks is suggesting progress.

Absolute ramblings of a madman.

C'mon he has a point doesn't he.

If we'd beaten Brighton, Bournemouth, Burnley, Palace, Southampton and Fulham we'd be in a Champions League place.

Can't you see that?

And if we’d not conceded a single goal we would definitely be unbeaten. He’s a genius.

He doesn't help himself, does he?

Ah well. At least Daniel Amartey's having a party. I'm starting to think that Puel's trolling Black Starr to see whether he'd actually carry out a threat of posting a t*rd through his letterbox.

I'm going to switch sides temporarily and say I can see the point Claude's trying to make albeit not in the best way. I had looked at the table and seen we are only three points off 7th, which would probably have been a better way of putting it.

Having said that, we're highly likely to get to the mid-point of the season on the current 22 points with a further couple of defeats. That rate would give 44 points over a full season, which should keep us out of trouble. I'm still wondering how we've gathered so many points whilst generally playing so poorly and ineffectively (I listened to Steve Walsh's positivity about our play on last night's boot room on RL and wondered if he's been watching a different team this year).

If Cardiff get something at their visit a week tomorrow, it wouldn't look so good. Why do I get the feeling that there's always a potential crisis round the corner with this manager? I was wrong in my prediction he'd be sacked before Christmas, but it still wouldn't surprise me to see us in the mire in the New Year and him gone before the end of the season (Nev - that does not translate into me wanting this to happen!).

Oh there’ll be a Yule Log delivered to Monsieur Puel on Christmas Eve don’t worry about that. I’ll be dressed as Santa, trousers down, arris pressed against the letterbox - now that’s the true spirit of Christmas right there
