Typical domination from Leeds United apart from first ten to fifteen minutes at the start of each half. A few defensive lapses could have cost us but even at 2-0 down you still thought we had a chance.
Credit to the youngsters who have given our squad depth and who offer great potential for the future.
We've buried a few demons this season but today's comeback could well be the defining highlight of our season.
Great reward for Clarke today and someone who should soon be starting for Leeds United in the not too distant future.
Due credit to Bielsa. He's got this team firing on all cylinders at a time when we notoriously capitulate. He's sticking to his tactics too.
Well done Leeds United.
I'd agree, if we see new signings in the next window then they've got to be better than what we have. I'd count a keeper amongst those areas we need to strengthen. BPF has done well but I think more experience would give us more chance of promotion. I'm inclined to think we'd benefit from another wide man too.....
MOT
Season defining game.

Always want to win, be it 1-0 or 7-0.

Why cant people understand what I'm saying 😂
I said I wouldn't have a problem losing at Villa IF we beat Blackburn and Hull!
You keep saying that doesn't get you promotion but I'm pretty sure 7 wins from 8 does

Saying that you'll take a loss against your promotion rivals doesn't get you promoted.

It does if you win 33 matches

Exactly Promotion....I don't know how people can't see what I mean 😂
We had won 5 in a row before Villa, a loss at Villa and then two winnable home games after is still promotion form.
Or are you expecting us to win every single away game all season? Because we will lose more games this season, and we will still go up

I'm expecting us to beat the teams who be in and around us at the end of the season. That's how you separate the teams in promotion places from the playoffs.

Win at home, draw away.
Do that all season and a team averages 2 points a game, good enough for auto promotion.
Win the odd away game here or there and you do better than 2 per game.
We have played 23 and we have 49 points. A tad better than 2 points per game!
Pretty good, eh!

Doesn’t matter which teams you beat if you get enough points.
Of course it feels sweeter beating teams at the top but it makes no difference if you gain 90 odd points.

You're right. Losing the game would have been fine. Guess that's how fans work. Don't mind losing the big games.

Lubo, that’s silly.
Accepting a loss to a very good team, away with key players absent for us is NOT “don’t mind losing big games.”
I am confident all on this thread who were expecting not to win would have been gutted by a loss, I know I would have been even though I would have snatched a point beforehand.
That said, I do get your overall point - go in with the idea and intent to win EVERY game!
That’s what the team appeared to be doing for all 96 minutes.
