Would James Milner be sufficiently talismanic, Stevie Dee? I think he could still make a great contribution - both now and possibly into the future, as a sort of understudy to Corboran. He's already a legend...

I think he'd be excellent but unlikely that Liverpool would release him in January.

My son was his security guard at a recent charity event, said he was really nice down to earth guy too.

Far too important player

If we got promoted would have a chance for Milner but not gonna happen before summer. One player who i think could be available and could make an impact for us is Steve Davis from Southampton who is a very similar player to Milner and who could make a big difference to us.A very high tempo player with a good engine and can pick a pass as well as chip in with a few goals.Would easily fit into MBs style and possibly could get him for a snip if Rangers dont get in for him first
