Bigger head than Colin

Strange article this, it is in today's Express on line and says he finally has opened up about Bielsa but beneath it there is a link to an article from 9th December with Heckingbottom talking about Bielsa.
Heck appears obsessed.

nothing there not true. one of the biggest mistakes leeds ownership has ever made. i didn't give heck a chance because like almost everyone else i though this was a huge mistake. didn't much feel like even watching because we had taken a step backwards before a ball was kicked when heck was hired.
how this ownership team came upon bielsa is beyond belief. never know for sure where we would be without him but i think i can safely say not first.

The standard of reporting in that article is so bad, I thought that maybe montleeds or LIW had written it.

The way we all converse on a forum is one thing, but to be a professional journalist, it is imperative you have a good grasp of the english language, how to tell a story simply to the masses so they get it in one reading, and good grammar and spelling.

Heck is on a hiding to nothing, but he claims that there were no guarantees that Bielsa would have done any better than him if he'd gone to the club when Heck did originally.

He completely fails to understand that (unlike him) there's no way on Earth that Bielsa would have agreed to go into a club mid-season. He needed pre-season to instill fitness and his philosophy on the team.

I still remember Heck commentating in the studio on our first game against Stoke - he just looked like he wanted the ground to open and swallow him!

I remember thinking that Heck made 'zero' impact on the team, tactics or results when he joined. Not even the usual "new manager bounce" that teams tend to get.

Heck could have been dignified and pointed to the obvious class of MB, but chose to try to say that MB is no better than himself. Says tons about Heck's lack of brain cells to me.

People only have to look at this club a week before Bielsa came to it and 4 months later to know that the players there weren't as bad as what was seen!..

Its more or less the same team that are at this time leading the way!..
