Great win.....

Tremendous finish, three more points and a little gap forming between the Canaries and The Mighty Whites. All positive.

As before in a few other games, we've been our own worst enemy. This time the relentless never say die attitude and our fitness levels saw us through. We were a couple of notches down on the Villa performance though.

We do need a new keeper to raise levels of experience and deliver more consistency. Someone from which BPF can further develop his game and make the number 1 position his own in years to come.

We do need another centre half although Phillips continues to show just how capable a player he has become and someone who epitomises Bielsa's Leeds United.

Bottom line, 3 points, and some space at the top.

Another good day for Leeds United.

The only shot on target (bar the penalty) and it goes in.

We seem to dominate and struggle converting, hard to criticise him when you think his distribution and a few good saves meant we conceded 1 in 5 games recently.

Also hard to criticise when we have the 2nd best defence (by far).

Long range shooting problems can only really be down to his footwork and starting position.

Always has concerned me as (in my head) this is something that should come naturally?

He’s a huge part of how we play, he hasn’t COST us many points so far (comparing to last seasons efforts).

Is it good enough for us to go up? Probably, should we risk it....probably not. I’d dip into the market.

Thing is we don’t have an option with the GK. it’s pretty much BPF or a kid. Makes our league position all the more amazing.

He’d not be first choice, yet, at any other club... he still needs to work on positioning - although distribution is normally pretty good (poor today mind).

We need better with BPF as backup.

Don’t know what your on about Jonny, it was a deffo pen.

I explained myself quite clearly, I thought.

Now we can have a difference of opinion, I might even agree with you if you are right, but you haven't provided any argument or something different to what I wrote.

Same goes for Yorkie, please address what I have written. If you saw it differently to me please describe what you saw. If you saw it the same but reached a different conclusion, please explain.

I am open to be convinced.

Jonny. Aylings leg whacks the players ankle/foot after he had passed the ball. It was a poor challenge.

Not sure what else to say mate. Presume you have done your research but am sure its blatent somewhere on Twitter.

It was interesting that no-one wearing a white shirt protested the penalty. I wonder if Bielsa has instructed the players not to resort to the usual pressurizing of referees? Seemed a bit harsh on Ayling today - but what do I know...

I do know we are top at halfway stage after winning SEVEN on the bounce with a depleted squad! This feels really really goooooooooood!

Talk about the real deal - Bielsa, what a coach!

He's a bloody clever bloke if - or should that be when - he pulls this out of the hat!

Did you miss this part "Yes, technically a foul, but a really trifling call!" ?

posted on 26/12/18

It was as a technically a foul as it was a deliberate one as it was a stupid and blatant one. Clear pen. Thought ref was spot on with it.... not even a talking point from me. Hopefully Ayling learns not to be too rash in similar situations

Ok, fellas, I have now seen it from a different angle and agree 100% it was a good call. Ayling does this dumb things on a fairly regular basis. Not sure why he came directly back without a tune-up for the U23s.

My bad.
