The Scousers

lets say they win the league this season... of course, the whole youve not won it for blah blah blah years will be gone, and many of them on here will be unbearable... cough cough Got Better cough cough...

but would anyone actually begrudge them?

they play football the right way
they buy within their means
their manager is a decent enough guy who many on here would love at Utd
and they would deserve it.

If Liverpool and Leeds both win their respective leagues and city win the CL then that would be the worst season in my lifetime. All could very well happen
---------------------

That would be the worst season imaginable. City need to re-learn how to defend before they win anything that isn't gift wrapped in the form of a two legged semi against Burton though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Rather see Liverpool win the PL than City the CL.
-------------------
Neither would be particularly enjoyable but I'd take City winning the CL over Liverpool the PL. Simply because I think City winning the CL is inevitable in the short term. Their whole club is built to do that. Whereas Liverpool are overachieving and if they don't win the league this year, there isn't the same inevitability that they'll come back stronger and win it soon

On the face of it, I’d almost be glad to congratulate Liverpool for winning a title - one of the country’s most decorated clubs with a rich history, playing good football and generally a likeable playing and managing staff.

The funny thing with football is that so many fans’ first thought when winning is to mock the opposition. Wat h fans on both sides near to any away section - some people are just waiting for a goal to flip a finger at the opposition and celebrating their team scoring seems secondary.

It’s for that reason it’s hard to be magnanimous, when so many opposition fans are idiots. It’s the same reason why I’ve started to prefer non league football and even other sports.

Opposition fans in non league football and other sports are also idiots.

You'll find that out soon enough.

Whether Liverpool deserve to win the league is irrelevant..
Under no circumstances, no hypothetical scenario, do i want Liverpool to win the league. Ever.
It will be End of Days..

Celebrating winning the title after just 19 games.

They never learn do they.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
can you not read sandy? there's literally not any liverpool fans celebrating the title. the only person that seems to be celebrating the title is a spurs fan named sandy.

I didn't expect us to be in this position but we're not overachieving. We're clearly just a very, very good team now.

Yeah, everyone thinks we could win it except for Spurs and Liverpool fans.

Liverpool fans think City will win it while Spurs fans think Spurs will win it.

Arrogant cockneys.
