Reeks of cover up and helping the old boys!

How can the FA say Salah didn't try to deceive and he went down like being shoved from the front and then like as if his legs were taken away from underneath him?

Did the FA bother watching the footage at all?

The most definitive cheating moment of 2018 and the n0bs at the FA close their eyes on this incident!

This sets a precedent that it's a pen, whenevera player goes down when a defender touches him in the box!

One decision for the darlings of the media and another for the rest of the league?

The same way as Spurs play 4 games in 10 days whereas other clubs stroll around with1 game in 5 days.

Hope the govt dismantle FA and those faackwits at the FA get kicked out!

Kane dived
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So did Salah and Lovren but they were fouled. Kane anticipated a foul but it never came.

I said they went down easily. Contact yes, clear foul, no
----------------------------------------------------------------------

TOOR thinks ‘a pull’ is binary and an automatic foul
- he doesn’t understand opinion.

I personally think it’s laughable to say he was fouled.

Salah and Lovren went down very easily yet again.

Behave.

Salah’s pen was a clear foul. Lovren’s was soft but at that point it didn’t make a difference to the result.

A fouls a foul. If players don’t go down, they often don’t get anything given. We see it all the time, no matter who the team. I don’t like it, but unless the refs get help they’ll keep missing them, thus players have no choice.

Which is a nonsense excuse for diving.

Take this Salah incident. If he stays on his feet and the referee doesn’t think he’s been fouled, he’s entitled to that opinion. The guy barely touched him.

But in Salah’s mind you’re saying he thinks he’s been fouled and so he’s entitled to throw himself over.

Utter nonsense. He felt a touch and threw himself down. Cheating.

TOOR claimed yesterday that the foul on Salah was given for ‘impeding’.

Law 12 A direct free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a player commits any of the following seven offences in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force:
...
• strikes or attempts to strike an opponent
• pushes an opponent
...
A direct free kick is also awarded to the opposing team if a player commits any of the following three offences:
• holds an opponent
...
Striking or pushing are fouls when committed
(a) without a player thinking about his act (i.e., carelessly),

(b) when a player considers that his act is illegal and does it anyway, with complete disregard for the danger to, or consequences for, his opponent. (i.e., recklessly), or

(c) with enough force to affect the opponent. Note also that the attempt to strike an opponent is a foul, the only attempted act that is a foul in football.

========
Winston talking crap as usual.

Use of the hands doesn't have to actually impede a player for it to be a foul.

In football, the use of hands in any way (except yhe keeper of course) is an automatic foul under the rules. Its not a tackle where the ref must assess the degree of contact and all that. There is no use of hands period. Even an "attempt to strike" where no contact at all is made, is a foul.

Its not given every time, but you can't complain when the rules are applied as they are meant to be applied.

Punishing the use of hands is not about rewarding a team for an offence. By not punishing the use of hands in the box at set pieces, refs allowed the problem to get out of hand.

We can't have people doing some cheeky pulls and pushes and then excuse themselves by saying "there wasn't enough contact to give the foul". Use of hands must be stamped out like a poisonous snake rearing it's head.

Yep and the players who gave them away were pretty careless.

You guys really don’t understand the rules do you?

You’re entitled to see the Salah challenge as a foul. I think it’s laughable but it’s your opinion.

What you’re entitled to do is apply the wrong laws to suit your argument. That means the whole basis for you believing it to be a foul is wrong and your opinion loses any credibility.

That’s what TOOR did and it’s what you appear to be doing.

TOOR, I’ll keep this thread bookmarked - you can’t escape it.

Lies, errors and foolish comments... it has them all for you. No wonder you decided to hide away.
