So it seems like Unai Emery is gonna play three DMs without Mesut Ozil with a shoddy defense and Arsenal is going to get blown off the pitch at Anfield because they won't be able to retain possession or pass the ball forward.
Any one concerned....
Ozil did not travel

I wouldn’t mind him leaving if we get decent money and can get a replacement. He’s undoubtedly a top player on his day, but the situation as it is can’t go on. He either needs to comply with emery or leave. Can’t drag on an unhappy player for ages again. His value will only decrease from here on. He’s a good player but hardly irreplaceable

Think he was touted around by his agent before signing that ridiculous contract.
Nobody was willing, or I'm sure will be willing, to pay him the type of wages he'll want.

Things might have changed and Özil will be happier to take a pay cut for right club. Or some Saudi or Chinese team could come in and pay a shed load of wages for him. Can’t have this situation carrying on much longer. Luckily it’s only him who seems to have this problem

Okay. No debate possible.

We won't get decent money for Ozil, need to give him away for peanuts to get him off the wage bill, we would have lost him for free anyway a few months ago which would have been better than giving him a new contract.

Arsenal will struggle to move Ozil on unless they subsidise his wages.

Ozil is a gutless coward who bottles big games like he bottled his international career. Massive respect to your manager for standing up to this 300k a week fraud. Your new manager immediately identified him as a problem on and off the field. Some of you wanted Wenger out but still want to stay in the Wenger mindset. Sucking up to an underperforming downright lazy player is pure Wenger. Arsenal need hungry players who care about the club more than Instagram.

Depends who comes in for him. Can imagine we might get 40m from some Chinese team who want to sell more shirts at their club. Whether or not ozil would like to play in a crap league, who knows. Can’t imagine many other normal clubs wanting to spend more than at most 20/25m on him with his wages.
If he can’t be arÅ›êd to play for the team in the way the manager wants, then I hope we just sell him. We really need all the players on board with the new ways if we hope to have any success in next couple years. If we invest properly I don’t think we’d miss ozil that much
