poor mentality... top 4 challenge is our comfort zone...

there is no reason whatsoever (apart from our lack of mentality when it matters) why we couldn't put ourselves right in the mix for a month or so. no reason whatsoever.

It's not really a poor mentality though, it's just obviously too difficult a challenge from the facts I've given in the OP. I mean were we going to go the rest of the season winning all 19 remaining games?

no mate. im not expecting us to win the league. its the timing of the defeat. literally the first time we were mentioned as contenders by the footballing world, we lose straight away. its actually funny / pathetic.

if we were away at Man City fair enough, but not home to wolves. now we will go on a run because we are all comfy again in our top 4 battle. weak mentality is all thats stopping us putting in a title challenge mate, its not ability with the ball.

By itself it's a shiiit result don't get me wrong. Go 1 up to a team outside the top 6 and lose 3-1. That's a shiiite result and performance, even if Wolves are decent. Still, people moaning beyond that in the context of a title race is what makes it silly. Title hopes were slim at best.

This was a total unmitigated disaster by both the team on the pitch and the manager watching from the sidelines.

I never called for him to be sacked, just questioned exactly what we had achieved under him. I’m still not confident when push comes to shove we can win crunch games like semi finals etc
