Rodgers, re-shuffling and transfers.

First of all credit to Rangers, they battered us 1-0 today in a similar fashion we did to them earlier in the season. But as the dust settles the problems around the Celtic team start to seem more obvious.

Rodgers got the team wrong today. Most people had serious reservations as soon as they saw the team sheet and it turned out pretty much as bad as we thought it'd be. It seems like Rodgers was the only one that couldn't see it, so he has to take blame for that because it's not as if we didn't have options for the full backs and centre mid positions. Having said that the problems are recurring ones and we need to phase out some of the old guard moving forward.

I think we've already seen from our better performances this season that our best midfield no longer includes Scott Brown as a starter, even his biggest fans have to admit that time is catching up to him. Especially in the role at the base of the midfield McGregor is so much more dynamic and able to play the type of forward thinking, sharp, quick passing that is vital for Rodgers system to work. McGregor, Christie and Rogic seem to work well together but it leaves us a little light defensively in big games. If Ntcham can find form again he could bring that power and energy to midfield but he's been way off it recently and along with Brown was one of our worst performers today so it's hard to trust him right now.

Lustig is another one. If he was a horse he would've been shot by now. Everyone can see it, I don't know why we persist with him. We definitely need to sign a right back but even Ralston would have been the better choice today. He's been a good servant to the club but his time was up a year ago. Boyata was poor today aswell, but he doesn't look fully fit yet and should improve. We don't really want to change centre backs mid-season so holding onto him until the end of the season would be more beneficial than moving him on in January, it does leave us with big problems in the summer with him and Benkovic leaving.

We obviously need a striker in the window as we have no back up and a youngster as our main man up top is proving to be a bit of a struggle at times with Eddie blowing hot and cold, which is to be expected really, we just got lucky with Dembele. I actually think our options on the wings generally aren't bad if the midfield can supply them in the final 3rd and not halfway inside our own half! We could probably do with a left winger but it'd be down on my list of targets. The young guys are good enough for cover and even when performing poorly Sinclair has goals in him.

Right back and a Centre Forward are obvious top priorities in January and if we get those and re-shuffle our midfield I'd still be confident of winning the league.

McGregor didn't do anything wrong at left back but putting him there lost us the midfield which is always the most important battle in these games. Rodgers was hoping that Brown and Ntcham raised their games but they just gave us the same as we've seen from them most of this season.

I would have risked Hayes or Izzy at left back to keep our best midfielder available in midfield.

Certainly celtics best outfield player
The little offered by celtic came from him
Was glad he was out the way for the most part

Might not have changed the result overall but at least we would have got up the pitch more instead of having Brown, Ntcham and Boyata struggling to pass 5 yards.

Definitely would have made a difference
And your top scorer might have made the ball stick

Still who knows

It’s done now

If Eddie and Tierney weren't fully fit then fair enough not starting them, we had other options for left back though and McGregor would have improved our midfield.

Either way, too many players just didn't show up for us and Rangers played well so it is what it is.

That’s nearly overt.
