It's been OK hasn't it.
On the last day of November we were second in the league, but had just lost in Paris. Looked like a tough enough set of fixtures coming up. Everton, Napoli, Manu, Arsenal et al
But still, second in the league, 14 down in the goal difference to unstoppable City.
1. Manchester City: +35, 35
2. Liverpool: +21, 33
3. Tottenham Hotspur: +12, 30
4. Chelsea: +17, 28
Then it was the first match of 8 in about 28 days or something. Specifically it was the 96th minute of the first of 8. Then wee arms appeared, we laughed our a$$es off and before you know it, December had flown by.
The best December ever?
Maybe not for the 20+ million turkeys slaughtered, but man that was a great month.
The greatest team the world has ever seen, turned a 2 point lead and +14 goal difference advantage, into a 9 point deficit and trailing in GD by 2. Over the last 5 games they've picked up less points than Cardiff. The same as Southampton and Burnley. Ouch!
Just an 11 point, 16 goal swing
Spurs turned on the afterburners, put the pressure on, ended up 9 points back and 18 in GD.
Chelsea, likewise stayed where they are, just 2 points off Spurs.

3. Tottenham Hotspur 20, +22, 45
4. Chelsea 20, +22, 43
Oh yeah, and there was Napoli.
Forza and Arouna seemingly have died.
