Where are the goals?

HT today vs Fulham.. 3 shots on target. 1 goal. Awful stats.

Emery said recently we score plenty of goals. Er, no we don't. We're actually getting worse going forward as season progresses.

Boring football. Star players not performing / playing.

Don't even get me started on the DF crisis.

What the hell is going on?

Really don't get knee-jerk articles after HT.

Ah I've been winding myself up the past few wks.

Southampton, Huddersfield, Brighton, Liverpool.

4 bad performances.

Better today thank God.

Auba and Xhaka had chances to make it 3 before halftime. The only worry was Fulham somehow didn't get 2 of their own.

This a big job sorting this mess of a side out. We need the fans to support the club.

U22015,
You did jump the gun a little today on the goals issue, however, you also touched a nerve with some Arsenal fans who have difficulty separating team loyalty and reality. Some of them (like The Trophy Queen), still will not accept criticism of the team and will resort to personal attack rather than address the problems at the club..

Todays win was best described by one commentator as a very flattering score for the Gunners. The silence of those in attendance today was deafening as they watched a marginal display by Arsenal. Fulham could/should have scored twice, due to Arsenal's porous defense, before Arsenal even opened the scoring!

Would be interested to read your comments on the "DF crisis".

Thx 4 heads up Globaled!

Yeah well we should be putting teams away much more comfortably imo. Fair enough 2+ goals a game but look at our GD compared to the top 4. Not good enough.

The DF, where 2 start...

I'm looking at Cardiff vs Spurs here. Spurs are 3-0 up, away from home after 25min. We conceded 2 against this shambolic Cardiff team who I absokutely hope go down this year, bk to mid table championship level where they belong.

Long story short, if we insist on leaking 1+ goals a game
I insist on having a 3+ scoring ratio. Either sort the back out or at least rip cannon fodder apart.

Firmino 2 goals were shocking defending.

How does Mane score that goal too ?

We have a makeshift defence with the injuries and our defenders are pants in the first place so it's not a shock we can't keep a clean sheet. Emery needs time and new players to see if he can sort out the defence. Same in attack where we have two top strikers but no wingers or AM's, Ramsey or Ozil not in his plans. Next season he'll start to have his own squad.
