Very proud of the fight from the players today, but defence and midfield very poor to put us under constant pressure.
That's 4 matches in a row now where teams have literally cut us apart at will, our possession is not counting for that much at present.
We don't have a lot of options to change things up with now and will be very interesting to see if Bielsa still of opinion that we don't need signings.
Its already Jan, so one would hope that any transfer business has already been worked on.
For me, we need cover for Pablo, and freeing up a defender so Philips can sit in front of defence instead of in it when he's back (when is Cooper back)?
Despite bad result we are still top with small cushion, we've been really lucky with other results recently, I'm still feeling that this is our year!

Yep, proud of the lads effort. MB continues to be brilliant.
Forshaw & BPF were dodgy as hades today. KP put us in massive trouble. Clarke's a genius with the ball. But, we're looking paper thin right now. Riding our luck. Fingers crossed club gets it done during Jan window.

their fringe players as loans? They could fit in.
Saying that, Harrison isn't exactly lighting it up.

Saying that Don, knowing Bielsa's way of playing, and then looking at our pre-season squad, who would've thought MB could've made that lot into this current lot?
I'm thinking now, there are plenty of players out there who MB can fit into this system.

I actually thought Harrison had a good first half today and that he was the biggest offensive threat we had for those first 45 minutes.
Would have liked to see Clarke come on for Klich instead today.

Am a little concerned with Bielsa's comments:
"We don't have any problems in defence. If you take out the goals that are scored at set pieces, we are the team who have conceded the least" I'm sorry,. but you can't just ignore set pieces.
We are struggling at set pieces without Cooper and Berardi (I think Berardi is completely ineffective at corners) but we do not need to buy anyone
We didn't lose control of the game
Think he's missing the point a bit here. We are poor defensively, especially from corners and Berardi is not effective in those situations. You can't just pretend set pieces don't happen.

Its either great management keeping team spirits high, or missing the point a bit about a real frailty right now.
If I was an opposition coach, I would tell players to sit deep, break on the counter shoot as often as possible and lurk around edge of box on corners.
