Btw Lauders I didn't realise anyone else on here was doing FB ads for their business. I'm about a week away from opening my dropshipping store and using FB ads/google ads to do it. I didn't realise there was so much to learn and set up though. I've built websites, not webstores and never used FB ads. So had to learn how to use FB Ads, FB Pixel, make ads, write ad copy. Upscaling ads etc etc etc. Got my ad account set up and my FB pixel installed. Feel like I've done another Uni course for the past 5 months with the amount of reading, learning, testing, watching youtube vids. However, it's good everything is online for free (mostly). Oh and don't get me started on trying to learn Gimp.

Aye? Took me a month

I'm joking. It's a nightmare, particularly trying to get your pixel to track extra stuff on your website, when you're website provider isn't compatible with certain aspects.

I lost a week and my mind on that.

Ran a couple of test ads, just need another website in between my first and second link (gets round their rules) and I should be self generating on Monday.

This is likely to change

No, seriously I meant the the 5 months was for learning and setting up everything for my business. Such as building my site, product research, market research, setting up PO Box address, setting up payment accounts, FB ads learning being a small part of that.

I designed and built my website myself from scratch using Wordpress and Woocomerce (cPanel control), as I wanted full ownership and control, so any issues I can pretty much sort out myself. But it's taken me longer that way.

Anyway hope you get it all sorted out. Once it running properly you will be glad. It's just all the fiddly stuff inbetween that drives you insane.
