Well put Apples...and, of course, should the answer to all those points be “yes” then CP really believes in himself and his reign should continue. On the opposite side of the coin however...
Take yesterday’s result and a PL placing 10-12 further down the ladder and I reckon he would have been on his way soon. We’ve suffered some shockers in the Cup over the years and I’ve seen one or two, but a managerial dismissal didn’t follow shortly afterwards (unless, you the people can remember better).
I didn’t see the match so will reserve judgment.

IF Puel would just balance his tactical approach to suit the personnel on the pitch, he may get my backing.
Until then, it’s when he gets his P45 rather than IF.

It's difficult watching Telly Savalas in other roles – like Blofeld in 'On Her Majesty's secret service', or Maggot in 'The Dirty dozen' – you always half expect him to come out with that line and produce a lollipop.
